  • Capacity Limit: Strictly capped at 16 Parent-Child Pairs to ensure dedicated guidance and comfortable seating.

🕒 Workshop Schedule

  • 30-Min Interactive Lecture & Q&A (Parent + Child)

    • For Players: USCF tournament rules, touch-move policies, using chess clocks, scorekeeping notation, and sportsmanship.

    • For Parents: How tournaments are structured (Swiss pairings, bye requests), tournament hall etiquette, handling floor disputes, and supporting your child between rounds.

  • 90-Min Mock Tournament & Live Coaching

    • Put your new skills to work in a real-time mini tournament simulation!

    • Hands-on practice with chess clocks and pairing sheets.

    • Live coaching and advice throughout play.

    • Awards ceremony, prizes, and wrap-up.
